Stirring of liquids and powders

FlowTech designs and manufactures complicated pipework for blending or suspending liquids and powders.

FlowTech analyses the relevant product, and with the customer’s input, proposes a solution. A pilot plant is built and tested, and if successful, the machine is designed and manufactured. FlowTech prefers to be involved in its installation, in order to ensure optimal effectiveness for the product in question, but this is optional. During the past 20 years, FlowTech has carried out many assignments in this area, including the suspension of mineral products in oil and water, the blending of dry matter in resin, and the blending of electrolytes for the production of batter (a sealed process under pressure in a protected atmosphere).

Standard unit for blending liquids and powders

FlowTech manufactures a standard unit for blending liquids and powders, which consists of:

• Mixing tank with highly efficient dissolvent pipework
• One or two dosers to weigh specific amounts of powder additives
• Optional dosing pump and air jet
• Optional cooling/heating jacket

Complete plant solutions in existing production facilities

FlowTech offers the option of optimising plant solutions in existing production facilities.

FlowTech can also supply tanks and vats for blending operations specified for the individual product, for installation by the customer.
